I paint colorful reflections of images powerful to my past and present, with strong relevance on life around me today.

I play with these images that hold deep personal meaning and translate into striking human emotions, invoking the great conflicts and questions in life.

Comedy? Faith? Death? Religion? Joy? To forgive or not to forgive? Hope? What is beauty? Why is there illness, pain and tragedy in life?

The great film director Howard Hawks said “the only difference between comedy and tragedy is the point of view.”

I agree.
